Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our services, NDIS funding, and how to get started with Prospect Hill.
Supported Independent Living
SIL is an NDIS-funded support service that helps people with disabilities live as independently as possible. It provides personal support such as help with daily tasks, personal care, cooking, cleaning, medication management, and community access. SIL is typically delivered in shared living arrangements or in a participant's own home, with 24/7 or drop-in support depending on individual needs.
NDIS & Funding
SIL funding needs to be included in your NDIS plan. If you believe you need SIL support, speak with your Support Coordinator or Local Area Coordinator (LAC) about requesting SIL in your next plan review. Prospect Hill can also help guide you through this process.
